Frequently Asked Questions

Are you offering face to face counselling and online sessions?

Yes, I am currently offering both; for online sessions I use Doxy.me.  When having online sessions it is important to make sure that you are in an environment where you cannot be overheard and will not be disturbed, to maintain your confidentiality and safety.  Devices such as Alexa should not be in the room and smartphones should be switched to aeroplane mode.  For my information sheet for online sessions, please click here.

How do I make an appointment?

By email: let me know your availability and ask any questions you have.  I will get back to you and offer a time if I match your availability.  I also offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation where you can outline why you wish to come for counselling and decide whether you wish to make an appointment.  Please bear in mind anything sent electronically cannot be guaranteed to be secure.

By telephone: I offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation where you can ask any questions you have and briefly outline why you wish to come for counselling. You can then decide whether you wish to make an appointment.  Please do leave a message if you get through to my voicemail.  I will not return calls where no message is left, in an effort to maintain confidentiality.
